I’m a bit stumped. I have a gigabit network and I’m testing playback of 264 and 265 videos at different bitrates on my Odroid N2 with 4GB RAM. I’ve tested NAS to CoreELEC connection via iperf and I’m getting over 900Mbit, consistently.
I’m running into tons of buffering on 265 videos starting in the 60Mbit and up range, but I’m able to play 264 content up into the 140MBit range. Looking at my CPU/RAM usage, nothing is coming close to maxing out.
Any ideas about what the bottleneck might be?
