Best device for Coreelec in 2025 (and 2026)

It’s old. They can that change.
We haven’t get a real final specifications from the company, in our test group..

Thanks Gilga. What part of I’ve already ordered the AM6B+ did you miss?
I know you’re only trying to be helpful so don’t worry, but thanks to Amazon, AM9 Pro is now off the table.

ok np, for others it can still be bought from here for OK price and lower than AM6B+.

I had a bad experience with that seller.

Following the M200 and M300 series
An A016 S905X5 TV box from X96

I have purchased four different Ugoos media players from that “e’store”, and very pleased with the service.

Yes, I too have purchased more than 1 box from them. The last one was a Ugoos Sk4 Pro that was stolen by someone on his trip to my home. The seller has done nothing nor replied to my emails. In the end I have lost more than 130 euro..
Sorry devs for being out theme, but this is the truth.

Hi everyone. First time poster here. My Rocktech G2 is arriving today. Rather than just rely on AI, I thought to post here and get a solid answer on what CoreELEC version I should install on it so that I can have FEL support. Thanks.

… I must have confused it with another console. Please accept my apologies for the inaccuracy.

! What ! I thought it had FEL support with a version of coreelec??

just install the latest nightlies - it should be fine. I use it as my daily driver for a while now.

Is there a device that can run coreelec but also be used to stream Netflix/Amazon Prime in 4k? I was looking at the Xiaomi Android TV Box S 3rd Gen and the Dune HD Pro Vision 4k since they are both licensed for the streaming services. But from what I can find online there doesn’t seem to be a consensus on whether they can stream 4k via Netflix/Amazon Prime in coreelec.

There’s no device that can stream 4K video from Nextflix or Prime Video in CE.

There are only devices that can dual boot CE and Google-certified AndroidTV/GoogleTV, with Android able to play 4K Netflix and Prime Video streams.
