Cant get Tvheadend to see bouquet

I am trying to create my own bouquet file with my channels

I have pointed it to file:///storage/bouquet/mybouquet.tv but it doesn’t see any “services” or “seen services”

File format below:

#NAME Sports

#SERVICE 1:0:1:C81:20:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:9C5:19:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:DAF:23:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:D49:22:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:903:17:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:A92:1B:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:A91:1B:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:8FF:17:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:961:18:F020:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

I used the path

file://storage/.kodi/bouquet/mybouquet.tv

It seems to pick up the bouquets only in certain paths.

Hi thank you for your response.

I moved the file to where you said but it still doesn’t want to pick up any services :frowning:

perhaps you could have a look at my file

sports.tv (404 Bytes)

What satellite position are you receiving from?
I only have access to 28.2E Astra and I think your bouquet might be for a different Satellite.

It is using cable

In that case all I can suggest is that you edit the bouquet entry for this and ensure that the settings are correct.
If the channels are encrypted then ‘Map Encrypted Services’.

I used the following and got the five channels in my channel list

#NAME Bouquet Name

#SERVICE 1:0:1:F64:7D8:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:EF0:7F2:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:EFC:7F2:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:EED:7E0:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:F63:7F7:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

Again I stress I am working from satellite and not from cable.
I suspect that might make a difference.

.

I attempted to create a Bouquet for some DVB-T channels using the scheme above, and it failed to see any services. I could not find the equivalent form of SID for DVB-T so most likely had incorrect info in any case. :frowning:
I guess the cable supply is in DVB-C format which would be similar to DVB-T and probably fails for similar reasons.

Maybe someone with information could comment on this?

Is there a different method of creating a bouquet for DVB-T/DVB-C channels using their SIDs in Tvheadend?

.

I suspect you are correct. It can’t be that difficult. Perhaps the bouquet is generated using uuid? maybe i don’t know.

What would help is to see a bouquet generated by cable/terrestrial even the auto generated ones to make them into the same file format.

You might find something useful through this page …

cheers. I’ll try it. It appears most of this is for extracting and creating with sources which cna be done via webui. I think you right it is a bug
