CEC: active source switching not working in Kodi

Big thx! I will check it tomorrow. Also I will build you a image where I switch back to CECA in the Linux driver as this is a difference in last nightlies. I am not sure if all issues are solved by Amlogic about CECB.

Ok thankyou! Just let me know if you need me to test any builds I’ll be happy to :+1:

Please try this image:
https://test.coreelec.org/Portisch/CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.2-devel-1580979818.tar

It’s same as 20200205 except CECA instead of CECB.
So please same log procedure like before

wrong image used? i download from https://relkai.coreelec.org/ ? i used this build https://mega.nz/#!EPhnwaQZ!bdG3z4Ed-FQEweEeX9kQyAh_A7ZQWJNdR-fcq5jSGpA

my device is Vim3Pro i thought Generic NG Builds are Corect builds to use?

Thank you for testing, maybe I come back if I have another image for testing!
I have to take a look first for this CECA/CECB issue.

Your log showed:

 Kernel: Linux 4.19.83 #1 SMP Sat Nov 23 01:54:59 CET 2019
 Release: LibreELEC 9.2.0

We don’t build images for LibreELEC

Doesn’t matter as the issue is now known!

And you 100% sure u used the image I gave to you?
The log shows CoreELEC (official): 9.2.1

Thankyou for taking the same to find the issue! i will be happy to test any more builds if you need.

Strange! i have no idea why log shows LibreElec, i have never installed LibreElec on this box. only ever had CoreElec installed from first day.

anyway, thanks again for fixing CEC its huge help!!

Yes 100% sure…

I pushed the changes to switch back to CECA like it was in last stable.
Please try tomorrow again with the next nightly 20200206.

Thanks @Portisch! I will install tomorrow’s nightly tomorrow evening and report back if CEC is still working, I’m sure it will as it works perfect in the Developer build you made me With CECa
Thanks again.

Hi @Portisch I can confirm with latest nightly (0206) CEC is working perfectly! After switching source CEC still working

hi, i think i have the same problem.
Config:
tv: LG 55UK6500MLA
media: beelink gt-king pro (HDMI 3, coreelec 9.2.5 stable)
soundbar: samsung HW-Q60T (HDMI ARC)

My hdmi cec turns off totally random, once it going 3 days a row, once it turns off after 3 hours…

I tried the source change read in the topic, but i don’t think its related to that.

I don’t know what to do. i see now an update i will try it, but please help.

Try 9.2.6 stable, it was just released, and it fixes many cec issues.

Updated to 9.2.6 stable, i’m trying reproduce the bug, if problem stands, then i will post the log.
