CE21NE works great from microSD with DTB sc2_s905x4_4g.dtb file
VFD and Remote also work fine with the files in the repository

Vim4 not booting neither of nighties. Stuck on khadas boot logo.
I suppose its somehow refers to hdmi output, cuz it did boot when connected to pc display
Vim4 have a UART header, make a log. I just worked today with vim4, booting fineā¦

Thing is - 20.1 works fine.
21alpha boots fine when using a pc display and installs correctly.
At the same time installed 21alpha doesnāt boot on a regular 1080p tv, as well as setup of 21alpha, which stucks on khadas logo
I will ask tomorrow my today foggy magic ballā¦

Hello, I have a same 4GB RAM device however supplied remote (same as your one on the picture) is not working in Coreelec from the start, it works fine in Android. Have you done additional configuration other than SD card flashing & dtb.img copying ? Thanks
EDIT: It works after configuring rc_maps.cfg i.e. adding H96 MAX X3 files
X96Max+ Ultra with w1-aml chip. WIFi stopped working again on the NE21 nightly 20230620. The last time this happened was due the Intel WPA supplicant that was added and later reverted to make it work.
Rolling back to 20230616 nightly get the wifi working again

is there any downsideside of the āon the fly conversionā of DV Profile 7 FEL to profile 8.1? Will the bug in the new kernel, which prevents dv natively be player, be fixed anytime soon?
I wondered the same, not sure I fully understand the whole mel/fel thing when it comes to UHD bluray remuxes for instance
With Fel conversion you lose a lil quality and brightness since the Fel layer expands it. No bug not implemented in driver by AMlogic.
any information about why the new kernel driver doesnāt have support for fel 7? It seems to have worked with the old kernel. Did they share any plans to implement it again in the future?
AMlogic doesnāt want to support it.
