technical limitation, S928X is designed for 8K
No issues so far with this release.
FEL doesnāt fully render on S928X devices. It never has. The best you will get on that device is on the fly P7 to P8.1 conversion.
If you view a FEL test clip you wonāt see the full enhancement layer data. That behavior is unchanged from the nightlies to the beta for your device.
Just wanted to jump in and say Iāve been learning a lot and moved from the Piers alpha nightly to the beta. Now that we are in beta, what is the expectation for updates going forward? Iām enjoying the FEL-hunting hobby with my Ugoos AM9 Pro!
Only shaky thing Iāve noticed so far is that when Iām scrolling through my movie wall, every so often the screen will ājitterā and the file details on the bottom right will jump to the left during the split-second jitter. Iām on Estuary skin.

But those nightlies are on the alpha branch. I installed the beta this week and thatās what Iām asking about. Iām new to all this, but Iām assuming once youāre on the beta, those nightlies donāt apply?

Turns out it was an issue with my ISP. After changing my dns, artwork has been loading flawlessly.

Hey guys Iām having a problem since alpha 3 and now on beta 1. I have a Dune HD Homatics Box R 4K Plus and everything works great until I power on. The remote works great for powering off, cec and all commands while powered up but once i turn off the system my box r will not power on. The status light is on showing red and I have to unplug it to get it to reboot into coreelec. Any ideas?
Do you have a Dune or a Homatics? The difference lies in the presence or absence of an IR port: the Dune has one. Powering on the device from a powered-off state or standby mode is possible only via the IR channel.
After video playback finishes, the screen gets stuck in a black screen for around a minute before it starts displaying the UI again.
I have CoreELEC set to 1080p, with 4K and 1080p formats whitelisted. Device is Mi Box S 3rd gen
Edit: using ethernet instead of wifi seems to have fixed this. I also followed an article and a developer comment to set UI to 1080p and Whitelist to none

I have the dune, it has never been an issue until NO. I have the proper remote.conf file unless there is something else im missing.

I am using the Xiaomi Mi Box 3 and have encountered three critical issues that significantly affect the user experience. Please find the detailed descriptions below:
Dolby Vision Dual-Layer (Profile 7) Rendering Issue (Gray Screen): When attempting to play Dolby Vision dual-layer video files, the colors are incorrectly rendered. The entire screen appears completely washed out and gray, indicating that the device or player is failing to decode the dynamic metadata or standard HDR fallback properly.
System Crash/Reboot on Subtitle Switching: During video playback, if I attempt to switch or change the subtitle tracks, the application instantly crashes and causes the entire system (Mi Box 3) to trigger a hard reboot.
Inability to Power On via Remote Control: Once the Mi Box 3 enters sleep mode or is shut down, it completely stops responding to the remote control. I cannot turn the device back on using the remote and have to manually unplug and replug the power cable to boot it up.
How can i make la1uhd on hesibsat 30w run on coreelec 22 beta1. I need steps in details.

Just add that line into Google and the AI gives all the info.
I try alot but coreelec is light system and need alot of dependencies and i try aberty.py also fail. And i have littel knowldge in linux .can you help me in another way
