I understand Leia is currently in Beta but is CoreElec just a compiled version for specific chipsets (S905, etc)? Or asked in a different way, what would happen if adamg didn’t make any changes and just included the latest Leia code in his build?
Coreelec is a minimal OS that packages a mofified version of Kodi (tuned for the platform).
To answer your question: latest version is included in team-ce releases
It’s not my build, there is a team of people who contribute to CoreELEC.
CoreELEC is a minimal linux distribution, if we included stock Kodi Leia with none of the modifications we have made then there would be a lot of issues, you can look at the changelog for improvements we have made.
