Flickering in menu and subtitles during playback

First, apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Now, as per my title, I’m experiencing a flickering in menus sand subtitles during playback that I’ve never experienced before.
The subtitles are being duplicated too at the top of the screen and it’s these that are flickering
It’s been upgraded from 9.2.4 rather than a fresh install.
