I recently updated to Omega 3 and now during first boot my box is stuck with 100mbps instead of getting 1gig (on ethernet). A reboot fixes the issue. I used to easily get around 115mbps transfer on Lan but now at first boot im stuck at around 11mbps. After reboot transfer speeds are back to around 115mbps. Not sure if the driver is not loading correctly or something in ethernet driver has changed. Anyone experiencing this isseu? TIA

Hello!

I made thise settings so that the Nokia 8010 remote control works on the Homatics box. Now I want to restore it so that it works with the small factory remote control. I deleted the two files (NOKIA and rc_maps.conf) and copied the remote.conf file into the .config folder. Apparently that wasn’t enough.
What else I need to do to make it consider remote.conf and not look for rc_maps.conf?

Does anyone have the firmware flash package for Rocktek GT2 or captured the download address of the update package when getting the update package? Please provide a flash firmware package.

Rocktek should have it, if they want to provide it. Something wrong with you current firmware?

I asked the staff at RockTek and they said they could only mail it for repair and would not provide me with an img image to flash my phone. If you have an img image or an ota upgrade package, can you give me a copy? There is no partition data in my emmc, and there is no need for a brick-saving firmware to boot.

OTA is OTA. Manually you can made that just with burning tool, flash recovery.img method.
But when your vendor not want to give the img file, you cannot made…

Hello dear forum, first of all respect for this absolutely world-class CoreELEC, I love it on my Homatics Box 4K R Plus…
Unfortunately I currently have a problem with certain video files in the lower area of the picture. See photos, I describe it as flickering at the bottom of the picture like on an old VHS cassette, more interestingly the picture problem is only with certain files such as. at this:

flickering at the bottom of the picture

Interestingly, I don’t have this error when I play this file on my Homatics Box via Android 12 with VLC Kodi or simply via a Blu Ray player… I also tested 3 different HDMI cables and also tried different settings. Unfortunately, this flickering in the lower image area only occurs via CoreELEC on… does anyone have an idea as to what this could be? I have already updated to 20.5, unfortunately the error remains LG Lutz

try Amlogic-no

Yes I have same error long time…
But in h264 sd files.

A friend of mine is getting the same error on his AM7 on live tv broadcast .
There is a fold back from the bottom in the picture.
As a TV repairman, we call this type of fault a vertical circuit fault

@djnice out of curiosity I insmod loaded the gazelle (A311D2) dovi.ko on the s905x4 in CE-NE. It gave me some warnings

[ 710.528306] dovi: disagrees about version of symbol module_layout
[ 710.528324] please rebuild ko: dovi
[ 710.529127] dovi: disagrees about version of symbol register_dv_functions
[ 710.529142] please rebuild ko: dovi`

And I only got SDR (even with the SOC check modified to include SC2) output when playing DV content. Maybe too many register differences.

Yes, very strange error, I just watched a few channels via Simple Client IPTV, some have this flickering even in the lower area, some don’t, unfortunately Amlogic-no is not an option for me, it really only seems to be certain SD X264 files, oh well Let’s see what the future brings…KEEP GOING LG Lutz

When you not test it if NO works the fix will never reach NE…

A311D2
Kernel warning after installing Dovi.ko.

Did you load the s905x2 dovi.ko? The gazelle module that @djnice posted is dovi_vs12.ko (A311D2), and is for kernel 5.4. It insmod loaded for me, but there was no DV playback which is not a surprise.

yes it gives this warning when I try to load the file “dovi_vs12.ko”.

@Portisch
I tested here is one sample reported earlier. And tested the full hd files too.
Seems like under Android beta 12 kernel 5.4.242, the CE 21 NE nightly has the blur issue under in h264 files, and the CE21 NO nightly not.
So the NO works better with these files, but there is no DV support…
