How can I install to internal from microsd? (N2 / Coreelec 9.0.3)

I am wondering if there is an easy way to boot from micro sd with a emmc inserted into the N2.

Each time I boot, it will boot into the emmc (stock odroid linux emmc).

I want it to boot into the microsd (coreelec) so I can ssh command installtointernal, however each time I boot it automatically boots into the emmc. What can I do to boot into my coreelec on microsd with the emmc present?

Am I missing any steps? What is the easiest route?

Turn your device on without the eMMC attached and run installtoemmc, when the device reboots you will have 30 seconds to attach the eMMC and then when it finally comes back online run installtoemmc one final time and it will install CoreELEC to the eMMC.
