I found an Amlogic Chip device with CI-Slot

I found an Amlogic Chip device with CI-Slot, but there is no information about running ELEC.

Will the CE or ELEC system work on every Amlogic S912 chip?
How do I know that before I buy it?

Hi,

Despite of the CI-Slot, I can’t recommend any S912 based boxes due to its limited support by AMlogic.

Is that device name a secret?

I can recommend them. For me it is working without problems.

The problem is when we switch to mainline it could be a problem for S912 devices and they may end up left out but this subject has come up before and not something I will go into again.
