I am going to continue with CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.1.1-Omega_devel_20241207115537 that plays well DV, (not P5).
It’s a shame that there are no changes to this version while we wait for new hardware.
What you are waiting for?
There are multiple new devices support DV out of the box.
There are 7 newer SoC famillies already available: coreelec:ce_dev_cycle [CoreELEC Wiki]
It’s shame you don’t upgrade, yes.
You need DV? Get a device with a SoC licensed to fullfill your requirements.

I’m ashamed that I don’t know how to upgrade CE.
Actually, I’m happy to be able to play DV content even with the limitations of the P5.
If I could dream, I would like to see an evolution of the GUI as you are currently developing it, adding the DV capabilities of the version I am currently using.
I really regret not knowing how to do it, and I appreciate your work all the more.
