Someone can please share a BluRay ISO in private with me?
All my BlueRays I have local here are non DV as they are to old.
And also a M2TS Dolby Vision media file?
Maybe there will be some news soon…

If you don’t really need a full ISO, I have converted the well-known BL_EL.mkv file to a dual-layer blu-ray here:
[link removed]
Both in ISO and BDMV format. The BDMV\STREAM folder contains the M2TS file.
I assume you are working on DTDL support? That would be really cool
BDVM dual layer support is worked on, yes.
I prefer original files as the source need to be developed on this data.
I assume that was you who sent me an access request? If so, I have sent you an e-mail (to the Yahoo address).
Yes, I will try the BL_EL.iso for tests but yes, I will need one big “virgin” ISO as well.
It’s there now. Please let me know when I can delete it again.
Since I’m at the moment exploring all box options for my new device, it would be much appreciated, if all goes well, to know which devices could have BDVM support ?
Kodi has had BDMV support for a long time already on just about any device, just with limitations:
What @Portisch is working on is DTDL support, which would mean full blu-ray images would be able to play in full Dolby Vision FEL glory, leveraging the dual HEVC decoders of the S922X-J SoC.
Full BD-J menus are supported after installing JRE Zulu addon from CE repo. But this applies only for non-DV media.
Send me a pm i will hit you up with a link for uhd.iso
It is rather unstable though. Takes a while to return to menu, or other stability issues.
The ISO can’t be played at all or do I miss something?
I never did play a BluRay ISO, only DVD.

The M2TS file directly extracted from the ISO do play already in DV FEL
I’m sorry, you are correct. The small BL_EL_Test ISO doesn’t work here either.
But the big 60 GB ISO that I shared does work here. Does that one work for you?
I’ll try to create a new small ISO that works.
By the way if you extract it to BDMV and longpress the directory name above BDMV and choose Play it will also work.
EDIT: I created a new small ISO and tested it. It’s in the same Google Drive link as before.
Hi, I just copied a DV Blu-ray using makemkv. This is saved as a 1:1 BDMV file. When playing back thorough ugoos am6b, it’s only HDR. So Coreelec can’t playback a DV movie it this way? Can you advise how to make it play in DV?
For now you need to create an MKV file with makemkv. And it should contain only one video track with the base layer (BL) and enhancement layer (EL) interleaved. This is known as STDL (single track, dual layer).
What you have now in BDMV format is an M2TS file with two video tracks, which is known as DTDL (dual track, dual layer). CoreELEC cannot play this as DV yet, but @Portisch is working on that at the moment.
Hi thanks for your help, seems to have fixed my issue converting it to mkv
In basic for 1080p it works already but there are some issues left on 4k. So it will be available some day…
Sounds like we’re going to need some patience…
I didn’t even know there are sources that have DTDL in 1080p
