BT working again after tonight’s update! Thanks all!

I read the kodi forum and got the impression that dvd iso playback was broken. I upgraded 17 to 18.3 on my mint desktop and tried and the dvd iso plays just fine so it looks like a CE problem :frowning:

Here are the errors from the last crash (1 of each):
2019-08-15 19:46:31.523 T:4061855760 ERROR: GetString: error reading /storage/.kodi/userdata/disp_cap
2019-08-15 19:46:31.524 T:4061855760 ERROR: GetString: error reading /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/vesa_cap
2019-08-15 19:55:46.438 T:3541029760 ERROR: Unsupported audio codec
2019-08-15 19:55:49.033 T:3599049600 ERROR: Got MSGQ_ABORT or MSGO_IS_ERROR return true
2019-08-15 19:56:15.365 T:3549422464 ERROR: CAEStreamInfo::GetDuration - invalid stream type
2019-08-15 19:56:24.907 T:3549422464 ERROR: CDVDAudio::AddPacketsRenderer - timeout adding data to renderer

Would any of these cause a segfault/crash?

Hi

sorry if this is already a known issue : a friend and i have Odroid N2 boards. We believe that with nightly builds (maybe august the 14th released the 15th), there’s an issue with 1080p movies if playbacked from usb devices. No issue if playbacked from SMB. And no issue with 2160p movie (x265) even with USB. Back to stable version, everything is fine. The issue is that movies are freezing (we think after 10-12 minutes). The odroid is frozen or reboots…

Hope this helps the team.
Regards

Hi mates!!
after doing injection BL301 on Tx95 x2 I have wanted to install a fresh and clean nightly build, because I had some addon error, as Netflix one, and now my box doesnt start, neither android nor coreelec, it doesnt show the red light power indicator in the rear part of the box… some idea to give life to the box again??? I install on a microsd card, pushing the av inside button…

PD: sorry it runs right now android, then I will see now whats up with coreelec…
ok noobs fail, dtb missed… greetings

Regards,
David

Not sure if anyone noticed but the Shadertoy plugin is working on laterst nightlies with new version of the addon…performance is great for playing music with visuals.

So, PCM audio disappeared completely in the last Nightly, including audio from the analog front jack of my N2.

We’re looking into it.
I just checked on the GT-King with the latest nightly, and it works fine in the GUI and IPTV video.

One bug I’ve found on the latest nightly build (generic) in my vim3 is the sound output settings always return to “ALSA: Default (AML-AUGESOUNG Analog), PCM” after a reboot. I set it to “ALSA: AML-AUGESOUND, HDMI” and enable passthrough and everytime I reboot or restart kodi it returns to default pcm audio

Latest nightly (1908) does not boot after upgrade on BeeLink GT King.
Please check.

Mine is running perfectly fine. What’s the exact problem you have with it, and do older builds work?

Updated GT-King and it worked just fine.

Simply after upgrade it did not boot. Stuck on BeeLink boot screen. Older build works. I started from about 1008 and upgraded every day till 1908.

I recovered downloading 1808 tar file and coping manually files from tar to MicroSD. It did boot. I then placed full tar file in Update directory and rebooted to rollback to 1808 nightly build.

could you try to update once again to latest nightly for test?
Also please upload an output of cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep Serial if still doesn’t work

Upgraded by placing 20190819 tar file in Update Directory. Still got stuck on BeeLink boot screen.
I repair files and let you know about cpuinfo.

Here is the output:

KODI:~ # cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep Serial
Serial : 290a400001191d000001303254524d50

And what is your serial on the bottom of the box? first 4 symbols
Looks like you have g12b rev.a box
