No audio on some files

Hi,

I have problem with no audio in some files(using Matrix with ng S905X ). I just checked the kodi logs and it says

The file has audio when i play it with VLC player on windows.

Can someone please help me resolve it?

What are your audio settings in kodi?

Pass through etc.

no pass through

audio output device is “Alsa: AML.MESONAUDIO, HDMI” from tv i am using SPDIF to a sound bard.

just tried something else and used SPDIF from the player and with that sound is there. Thats strange.

Use Passthrough (set passthrough device AML.MESONAUDIO, HDMI) and see if it works, since this is how it works for me in similar audio setup.
