LPCM works on the whole range of devices, including S905X3, it’s either your box or your AVR that’s causing issues.
Ah yes, I guess you have CEC enabled. I can’t have CEC. I know, I have too many restrictions. I understand this is probably a very tiny use case. Just need to upgrade a few things around here to the latest tech. Hopefully I will do it at some point.

Trying to do system reset\a clean install might be something worth trying. You can create a back of your current setup, or use another SD card. Then try it by changing the channel number, without touching anything else.
I really appreciate all the help. But I will sound like a broken record . I tried both stable and nightly images on SD card with nothing but the audio settings changed to my configuration. Nothing worked. I opened this thread after giving all of them a try. It is alright. I will wait for my upgrades. Just wanted a confirmation that CE does support LPCM on S905X3. Beyond that it is most likely my weird setup. If no one else is having this issue, it probably is my setup.
Fact: CE supports LPCM
