Question for Mecool KIII Pro owners

I was working on my KIII Pro and did an lsusb -v and it shows that there is a USB 3.0 host controller but according to the specs I found there is no USB 3.0… * USB – 4x USB 2.0 host ports

Does anyone else see this or is it possible Coreelec is detecting it incorrectly?

To my understanding they are USB 2 because of the 480M marking which indicates 480 Mbit/s (60 MB/s) which is the speed of USB2. Many times the USB 3 ports are blue but I guess it’s not always the case

I’ve had my box for a year and I hadn’t even noticed that. I’m wondering if the version number in Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub indicates something else than USB 3.

The S912 only supports USB 2.0 I think it may be a USB 3.0 hub connected to a USB 2.0 Port.

I get something similar from a Tanix Tx3 mini

] # lsusb

So possibly quite a lot of these devices will report similarly.
