I tested CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-19.5-Matrix_nightly_20221014-Generic and the slow gigabit LAN is still not fixed. Its working fine on CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.arm-20.0-Nexus_nightly_20221007-Generic.
Sorry to tell you that CE-19 & CE-20 use 100% same kernel with the JL2xx1 fix. So it must be on your side that it does not work with one of these versions.
Best try clean, fresh install and check again.
I did a fresh install using the Ng nightly and it didnât work. So something is not right here
You migth need to post dmesg | paste from both your boxes. I know mine arenât interpreted exactly the same but both work.

I tried download CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-19.5-Matrix_nightly_20221014-Generic.img and start fresh.
Got the LAN connected but it return a different ip vs my network. Then I connect to the wifi and manage to get some logs as below:

When i tried connecting to wifi, it auto reboots a couple of times. Some how when i tried to connect the LAN, it manage to get the correct ip of my network. Hope the logs will help

CE-19 and CE-20 is same kernel, so itâs something wrong on your side.
You have done only logs for 19.5 but not for 20.0. Make them and compare what is difference.
curious, what in the log shows that the emmc is refurbished? got some cheap boxes lying around from various vendors and socâs that i would be interested in seeing if any of them did the same.
Also if i might ask does the refurb emmc really affect running another os from the sd card since i guess all data being transferred is using the sd card? i mean yea i would much rather be getting quality hardware and stuff but im not sure if that one such cost cutting measure makes that much of a difference if you never plan to use the baked in os.
I tried with this CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.arm-20.0-Nexus_nightly_20221007-Generic.img and 1000LAN works perfectly. Not sure which JLXXX chip I have in my box. However I tried with the lastest nightly and it broke the LAN again. Not sure what is in CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.arm-20.0-Nexus_nightly_20221007-Generic.img that makes it work
