Where\how\why are you changing the colospace?
Also, you need to follow up with a resolution or refresh change for the colorspace change to take effect.
In the System Settings of CE when i choose 16-235 the change does have no effect.
Also after a reboot everything was like before…
This feature can work(if it work) for rgb mode only.
By default you use yuv444,8bit
but on LE on my NUC i´ve deselected 16-235 and the system switched to RGB mode 0-255 and that is what it not does actually…
btw how can i check the actual screen mode via console?
This isn’t a NUC, it’s a completely different platform, with different capabilities.
You can see the current configuration with the following command:
cat /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/attr
You’ll probably see something like 444,8bit
.
I just took another look, and there’s no such option in CE.
And correction to my above post, by default, cat .../attr
will return an empty string.
with the latest update the option is not available anymore
It’s actually cat /sys/devices/virtual/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/config
