S912 Stuck with 2.0 audio

I’ve searched these forums (and other Alsa forums) but have had no luck.
Here is my debug log.

Passthrough works great.

I have been unable to get any non bitstream audio to be more than stereo. There is no audio output when I choose anything other than 2.0 for the speakers. Running speaker test fails unless it is in stereo. I’m not sure what’s going on here, but it seems like my sound card isn’t being detected properly.
