Skin Modifications - Copyng Files over FTP denied

Hey folks,

I’m just an amateur modifying the default estuary skin to make it more custom. It´s already working on my pc and now I want to do the same with coreelec, I have to edit / copy some files to /usr/share/kodi/system/library and /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.estuary but when I try over FTP or SSH (I´am newba) I get the message "received failure with description ‘Failure’.

I think is something about the permission / read only files…
Can I change that?

Copy addon from /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.estuary to /storage/.kodi/addons and edit files in this folder. After Kodi restart or device reboot new skin will be used.
/usr/share/kodi/system/library is readonly and you can’t change anything under /usr.

Is there a way to change /usr/share/kodi/system/library? To add a new folder?
Because if it don´t I’ll have to make a lot of changes to my estuary costumization
