I’m running CE (nightly_20201011 ng) off a microSD card in a Tanix TX3 S905X3 box connected to a LG 4K OLED TV. The weird thing is that using Power -> Reboot from eMMC does reboot back to Android (Slimbox v9) but the TV display remains dark unless I turn the TV off and back on or remove and reinsert the HDMI cable. Rebooting from Android to CE is fine.
Both OSes are set to display in 2160p
Any suggestions for what to look at will be greatly appreciated.
What is Slimbox V9 ?
If that’s an Android custom Rom you may have to speak to the Rom Dev.
Not much we can do in Debugging Android if CE is working.
I have a similar problem with Beelink GT King and a LG Oled TV.
The TV turns black after a few seconds and occasionally shows the image and then returns to black. If I decrease the Droid screen resolution from 4k to 1080p than the image is stable.
I have no problems with CoreElec, only with the box Android.
Maybe You will get support in any Android Forum ?
