Issue should be solved with CE-NG nightly 20250117.
Sweet!!! Thank you!
I’ll start warming up my F5 / Refresh finger, and will download the 01/17 nightly as soon as it is released.
I just installed CE-NG nightly… DolbyVision WORKS!
Thank you @Portisch
@Dolor-Sit and @fiogio you should give it a try.
Thanks again!
Confirming, the nightly 20250117 fixed this for me as well.
Hisense U7N → Pioneer VSX-LX305 → Ugoos AM6B+ now detects DV capabilities and allows TV-Led functionality.
Works for me as well. Thanks everyone!
I just ordered an am6b+ and have a Denon receiver. I’m admittedly a bit out of my depth with this sort of device and tinkering but a quick question: should I still follow the step by step guide on Reddit that instructs to
“download the latest GENERIC stable release here (use Amlogic NG arm): https://github.com/CoreELEC/CoreELEC/releases/tag/21.1.1-Omega”
OR should I instead be installing a newer nightly build like the one above to avoid any issue with CoreElec and my Denon AVR? Thanks!
Use nightly
Yes follow the guide. Most users with Denon receivers don’t have this particular issue and it looks like the TV in question was pretty old. You can try it with the stable build first. If you have a problem then you can install the nightly release. The instructions for all of this are readily available.
