Ugoos SK 1

I booted to android and checked the settings but they were all already set correctly. I still changed some settings to my preferred ones and then rebooted to CoreELEC and somehow now Dolby Vision works.

Thanks for the tip, now with the bluetooth USB dongle and the DV that works I have a fully functional SK1!

Now I’ll just follow the NO updates as they come out.

I must admit that No GUI Scaling option looks mighty fine!

My SK1 is putting itself into sleep mode or standby mode or something as when I get back to it after some time I see no picture on HDMI and I need to unplug and replug the device to see a picture again. Using Nvidia Shield TV remote.

Is there a way to prevent the SK1 from going to that sleep mode? All my other boxes just stay in CoreElec without ever entering these sleep modes.

Nothing like that happens on my one.
I do have a scripts running to check if TV is on/off to start or stop kodi running

Check CeC settings in CoreELEC ,maybe default settings.

System
Settings
Input
Peripherals

This is where can access CeC settings ,also can disable module all together

This still didn’t correct my problem. I am unsure if the box is in sleep mode or if it just stops outputting a HDMI signal but I don’t see an image after about a day of not using it and need to pull out the power and put it back for it to come back.

I am happy to listen to any other ideas.

Try to log in with ssh and see what’s happening  journalctl is very helpful from time to time :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No log, no error. Try last nightly!

Hey guys, I used to own homatics 4k box, and used to store coreelec files on internal storage by mounting data, can something similar be done for sk1? The same script isn’t working.

I am using the CoreELEC nightly version (nightly_20250526), and I am facing two issues:

  1. While watching movies or TV shows, the video playback size appears to be correct and fits the screen perfectly. However, the control elements (playback controls) and subtitles are displayed much smaller than expected and do not match the screen size.
  2. My UR02 remote control only works via IR and not via Bluetooth, even though it is connected to the device via Bluetooth.

Can anyone help me resolve these problems?

  1. Try changing ‘framebuffer’ to default 1920x1080 in Android settings.

How did you install CoreELEC on the eMMC and configure the bootloader to avoid conflict with the Android installation on the same eMMC ?

I overwrite the Android installation and I have only Coreelec on eMMC. It’s a price I was willing to pay.
