I purchased / received a SK1 yesterday and spent a bit of time playing with it.
I downloaded Coreelec from here:
and followed the instrcutions, including placing the āremote.confā file on the root of the USB.
It all loaded fine, but remote is not working. So I decided to try my old āminix neo a2ā on this.
Everything works perfectly fine, but I canāt turn on the box with it.
so here is the issue;
1 - ugoos remote turn on the box, but doesnāt work in the coreelec
2 - Minix Neo A2, canāt turn box on, but work fine
and one more thing, can the LED line on the front top edge of the box be controlled.
and my last question (for now 
), is nfs prefered over smb? or they are pretty much similar

I have just purchased a Ugoos Sk1 and after installing CoreElec y get a message that in order to have Dolvi Vision I have to update Android to have kernel 5.4.210.
I tryed to update Android but I have the last version 1.4.0 of Ugoos
Any Idea?
Just Ignore the message.
1-Download ugoos.am8.dovi.ko and rename it to dovi.ko
2-Copy dovi.ko to the root of your COREELEC flash drive

Has anyone else experienced the following;
When I turn on the box the led light on the top front edge goes green while coreelc is loading, then sometimes turn to cyan colour and stays on, sometimes it goes off. When I turn the box off, sometimes the led goes red and stays red till I turn the box on again.
Only thing I have noticed is when the shutdown takes longer than usual, led light goes red and stays red.
its not affecting anything in terms of plying stuff, but it is a bit annoying
Take black tape and cover the led.

Any one experience sk1 with CE NO nightly 22 with bluetooth issue. Unable to connect any thing with bluetooth.
Bluetooth are totally fine in android system, but on in coreelec.
Any fix ?

I ran into the same problem. I am trying to pair the Ugoos UR02 remote with bluetooth and it does not work. Shows that is is paired, but does NOT work. Because of other issues, I did a clean install a couple of hours ago using 21.2-Omega stable. I am using this bluetooth driver (UgoosUR02.hwdb) that I use on other media players and NEVER had any issues of that remote working via Bluetooth.

SK1 owners, especially those who also have other boxes (maybe a Shield TV Pro for Android use, and maybe SK1 and/or another box for CE use), are you happy w/it? Feel SK1 is worth it for its price? Is it your primary box?
Iām tempted, but canāt pull the trigger due to price to value/performance ratio. IMHO this box feels overpriced, but maybe Iām wrong. If I was to get one, Iād use it primarily for CE, but maybe 20% Android side (w/SlimBOXtv installed) for SmartTube (I assume HDR works well w/YT).
I canāt comment on this!! I have 7 inputs on my Yamaha AVR and ONLY 4 inputs on my Vizio TV, they are all filled. My SK1 has been replaced with other devices at this time.
Since I have a Dune HD Pro 8K Plus, it uses the same SoC, and I can dual boot into CE, I get the same benefit as the SK1.
However, I did/do like my SK1, but no room for it in my system today.
