Video controls hidden behind black bar with DOVI

I have 2 video files both with Dolby Vision codec.

One of them behaves normally. At playback of the other one, the video controls are hidden behind the black bar on the bottom of the screen. The controls can be used only not visible. Apart from the Video Dynamic Range the specs of both video files are identical.

One has Video Dynamic Range: DV HDR10Plus
The other one has Video Dynamic Range: DV HDR10

I have reproduced the issue on native (Arch)Linux Kodi where it does not pose a problem

What can I do? Any help would be appreciated.

Server Version#: 1.43.2.10687 - Linux

Player Version#: 21.3 CoreELEC Kodi in combination with PlexKodiConnect (PKC) add-on version 3.12.6

The issue arises both in the Estuary skin as well as in Aeon NOX: SiLVO skin.

21.3 is EOL

try reading the blue box at the top of the forum so people don’t have to keep copy/pasting it

Sure, I noticed and read the blue box. So, am I to understand that 21.3 is EOL despite the fact that 22 is “only” in bèta?

I will read the guidelines more carefully and come back to this issue after installation of the beta.

I didn’t fully understand the content, but I guess it might be related to DV L5. Try setting L5 to 0.
