I’m using the exact one, but no WiFi
How’s the WiFi speed, same slow speed as when it runs in Android?
Define slow.
It has better signal reception and transfer speeds as my 2 other (905W and 912) “n” boxes with link speeds => 150.0 MBit/s
You need to open the device and take a picture of the wifi chip, there is 1 chip that we do not have the driver for.
IIRC in my Mecool KM8 is AP6212 WIFI module Bluetooth combo chip…
5 mbps give or take
Okay will do
Here is my link info:

Okay thanks. I have to open my device up and see what chip it is.
T95N 2G/16G S905X, dtb.img is gxl_p212_2g
Updated to 8.95.4 and still same issue. Wifi was working with LE 8.2.3.1
Some devices are fitted with the xs9028 chip that we do not have a driver available for, if you open the device up then you will be able to confirm this.
The reason it works in the old LE release is because they are using a pre-compiled module but you will even find this missing from newer LE builds.
We tried in the past to get the driver for this chip from the manufacturer and it’s a total no-go.
Your best option is to buy a cheap USB wifi adapter.
Could we use this driver:
http://wrxtasy.libreelec.tv/MECOOL/9082.sh
http://wrxtasy.libreelec.tv/MECOOL/9082xs.ko
No we need the source
If I use the sricpt, will it install the driver to make it work?
Install - yes, work - no.
What should I look in an external usb wifi adapter? Ship model?
Read from link above.
Here is the lsmod dump.
