How to Install CoreELEC

  1. Download the latest CoreELEC build: https://relkai.coreelec.org/?dir=Amlogic-no/ce-22 → choose Amlogic-no Generic

  2. Create a bootable USB flash drive using Rufus

  3. On the USB drive, open the folder device_trees Copy the file: 7d_s905x5m_xiaomi_3rd_gen.dtb into the root of the drive and rename it to: dtb.img

  4. Insert the flash drive into the Mi Box (or USB hub if using USB-LAN)

  5. Enable Developer Mode on the Mi Box

  6. Connect via ADB and run: adb reboot update

After this, the device will boot into CoreELEC.
