2 same boxes, 1 TV

I have 2 of the exact same boxes connected to the same TV. One is used for Coreelec and the other is used for IPTV. For some reason the IPTV stock android box always takes precedent with the TV’s remote control through CEC. I would think it would be dependent on which input I’m on but for whatever reason when both are plugged in the TV’s remote only works on the IPTV box and stops working for Coreelec.

Is there any solution to this? Is this more of a TV issue? It’s an older Vizio V655

I have 4 boxes total. 2 of each model.

So I tried using 2 different models on the same TV instead of the same model boxes and now it’s working as it should. TV remote controls both dependent on which input I’m on
