I’ve read a ton of posts across multiple channels, but I’m still a bit confused as to the state of 4K Remux playback via Kodi (in general and on an ODROID N2). My goal is playback of 4K Remux with lossless audio. Is it fully functional, at this point, or is it still buggy? Would greatly appreciate some clarity. Goal would be passthrough to my Marantz AVR.
A remux is the original video and audio packed in (usually) a MKV container. It works just the same any other MKV.
There’s nothing buggy about playing MKVs, HEVC or Atmos and DTS:X in CE.
