The HyperionNG add-on, from the CE repository, works perfectly. However, it doesn’t natively support HDR. There is a fork of Hyperion, named HyperHDR which does that. HyperHDR already has a native add-on for LibreElec, so I’m hoping that could be ported to CE. There’s also a working, but badly outdated CE addon that could speed up the porting.

Here’s the old outdated version of a CE add-on that the HyperHDR author had created and abandoned.
This would be a wonderful addition for those of us with bias-lighting setups.
