Addon The Big Picture not working

Hello,

i installed the addon “the big picture” from repo but it is not working.
When i start the addon it only shows the description of the picture and a rotating circle in the middle.
No error messages.

HW: S905x Box, trying coreelec 8.95.4, 8.85.4.2, 8.95.5
