This is the basic info. It does nit mention exactly about edid dumping.
I just want to let you know that CE NO picture colors are warmer specially in dv (looks nicer is some movies but not all of them does not looks nice other)) whereas NG has neutral tone mapping which looks nicer
It explain enough: Dump current display EDID to edid.bin or use found edid.bin if option is enabled.

Hi I am using NG on 21.3
There is jitter but I donot feel want to move to NO.
I just upload my edid in Vertex and set color to 4:2:2 has better and smoother playback than 4:4:4 in CE NG. Thats what I have Noticed.
Second I noticed whatever you do change . Do after Factory reset.
There is no support for third party images.
