What is RRC?
How do you disable DV 8.1 in android?
Does FEL works fine in CE.
Use NG 1020 . 1023 is not stable color wise… what build are you using?

@vpeter @Portisch NG 20251023 is not stable colorwise and frame rate. 1020 is very stable and very nicer colors. just let you know guys

RRC is the refresh rate changer, under Video settings to match the frame of the video :slight_smile:

Always under Video (expert settings) there is a switch (mode compatibility Dolby Vision) and with it enable, it transforms Profile 7 to 8.1

Yes, FEL works in CE-NG, not on CE-NO.

About color, I didn’t notice something weird when I have tested, it was a nightly CE-NG.

I have no clue about the diff in the soc 922 and 928 graphic.

For sure, Ugoos player handle DV in a better way because RRC has no impact on it, but it’s not Kodi, etc. I think it’s surely doable to do the same under CE, it will avoid a handshake less when RRC should not be started.

But it seems on Kodi, the way to recreate the window need to be like that (Kodi or CE part of Kodi).

You can set Kodi (in Android) to use an external player; then set prefered Ugoos player as external.

Yes it can be possible but better to use the native one and talking about Android version is for the comparison to see how it goes there so better to stick to CE with maybe a handle different or not.

You are right, it’s not to turn to Ugoos Android but to know how it works there to try to have the same on CE :wink:

Where we know what can be done on the same hardware, then it surely possible to achieve the same.

So you are right, on CE, it is managed directly :+1:(so no options on it)

I just installed 1102 NO. Colors were too warm until I changed the HDCP 1.4 and back to 2.2 .

This is regarding NO 1102 . Every time I switch on ce color gets warmer and warmer. If i try change setting or touch HDCP or color range than it effects framerate and does not play smoothly anymore unless reinstall all again
