hi all. Ive been using Coreelec for 3 years on various ‘open’ Android boxes, mainly Videostrong im so impressed with Coreelec well done all. I have searched the interweb but cant see any answers to this question i have.
Can I use coreelec installed on a external USB thumb drive on a 2nd gen S922X-H based fire cube? I know you can use upto 128GB external usb drive via a hub on this device, the question is is there a way to get the fire TV to boot from it… is it possible?

Amazon products have locked bootloaders do you can’t use CoreELEC.
