Can you send me a debug log of the starting of hyperion or just your hyperion config file? The SIGUSR1 will send the smoothing and led component to sleep. Maybe there is another component what keeps the LEDs on.

I tried to merge it in your addon v9.1.100.3 but it didnt work (not sure why, but I’m not a kodi addon expert)
Because this is not the hyperion.ng addon!?
This what you have here is a standalone addon - you can’t merge it together.
