will need to check what is different
I know already, we will see if it solves itself with new kernelā¦
Which method it boots for you?
With toothpick method or just plugging in the stick and power on the box?
not helped

I will check it later
write generic.img.gz into sd card, choice dtb, insert into box, plug power
@as_id I did re-upload the nightly 20240201. So please download again and update with the tar or do burn the img.gz again. Now OpenVFD may start working, please test it!
ok, some minutes
ps. now itās work. Great job

Opens OK. X96 max + ( 905x3_4Gb)
.ts files stop after about 5 seconds. No sound also.
Then sound stops working on other files unless rebooted.
What do I need to give you to help?
Kodi log still doesnāt show anything I can see?

some mp4 as well. Log for .ts.
So weird that your box works this way and i get a bootloop. These dtb files are so picky.
This answer is a bit offtopic, but it seems not so much CE users have an UART adapter.
I guess the reason is a lot of the CE users have not enough experience/knowledge and don`t know which adapter they need and how it works or if it works at all.
Perhaps it makes sense to open an extra posting where the experienced users who have such an UART adapter can share some information which adapters they bought and for which device they work.
Possible much more users will buy such an adapter then and the CE team can get much more UART logs to improve CoreELEC.
You need to switch to eMMC
boot. CoreELEC will not boot in SPI
mode!
Thanks
it is working now.
Perhaps x96max+ has many different revision, or may be to try different sd card, Iām used Sony 8gb 10 class
CoreELEC (official): 21.0-Omega_nightly_20240202 (Amlogic-no.aarch64)
Machine model: Amlogic
CoreELEC dt-id: sm1_s905x3_4g_1gbit
CoreELEC:~ # dmesg | paste
https://paste.coreelec.org/QnzKTG
flashed the latest nightly (first time user of coreelec no) to sd and tried to boot⦠nothing. when i switch to spi, i can see petitboot. unfortunately, i cant find the uart adapter, so i cant provide any useful logs. its on a odroid n2. black screen, nothing seems to happen. also no blue LED turning on or so
Try another sd card and check after flashing
I run NO on my N2 - You have to saerch on Your side
It“s no Coreelec fault
