I can’t even get mine to boot. Does anybody know how to install via USB? And could they possibly give me some directions? I tried all the steps from the tutorial using the nightly image and got nowhere

I see a change in brightness when playing the file “L8 4-steps 100nits Trims P8 (881 nits).mp4” so it supports CM 4.0 and True Tv-led ?

What does the player debug output show? If it’s RGB 8-bit, I think it’s proper TV led. Also it should show Tv-Std instead of LLDV.
RGB 8BIT showed with fake tv-led also.

Use Rufus to burn the image to the SD or USB. Then copy the correct device tree file to the root folder and rename it to dtb.img
Your usb is not compatible, you have to buy another usb, for example sandisk brand is the best

HD audio passthrough not work . Hopefully the next version will be fixed

Thank you for your work.Currently Ugoos AM8 works with CE with SD card.
Note:The dovi.ko file given above is placed in “storage/.config”

eMMC installation is also possible with ceemmc program.
Looks like USB boot is not 100% reliable.
