CoreELEC runs fine on the BananaPi M5. I’m very happy.

One thing I realized is that the WiFi hardware is not supported. LibeELEC seems to have a workaround for that: https://wiki.libreelec.tv/hardware/amlogic/bananapi-m5-m2s

Any chance we can get this to CoreELEC as well?

As SM1 should be supported by the new 5.15 kernel maybe yes. But it will take a while as we are to busy right now.

This might also help instate the Bluetooth capability of A95X F3 (S905x3) which currently does not work with 4.9 CE. There is a driver for this in mainline kernel since 5.08 I believe…
