edit, wow it’s like $88 pre tax! I’m calling it a scam, aliexpress have you covered but $88 pre tax is way to cheap. Sinbeda direct store are using discount codes and what not to get it that low but hasn’t explained how he’s done it, I’m calling that a scam to unless he comes up with proof, why bother posting and not explaining.

unless the vendor made a massive mistake with pricing, this is a scam. delivery from those will cost you probably $40 alone, so your paying like $50 for the box which is a third the price from everyone else
they’ve sold 5 boxes, with 500 items sold overall. big coincidence they have a pricing error when only a month old. very strange they think they can swindle aliexpress
they’ve also done a copy and paste job on the description, other vendors are showing some kind of certificate, this has the worst description I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t bother with this store
I paid using coins from daily logins on the aliexpress app, spend & save was automatically applied (save $4 per $30, max savings $16), used code PDOCT3 for $17 off, and the $26 off was via my saudi bank (they have an offer with aliexpress for a couple of days).
Also saudi introduced new custom laws that got into effect in the first week of october so I had to pay the store an extra $8 via a fake product link they sent through aliexpress messages (not their issue tho! it lined up with how much it would cost). They gave me a ugoos ur02 remote as a gift though. It’s around $9-11.
It’s not a scam. You can check my other message explaining it. Also you can do it on any “Choice” seller. I used this store because they had the cheapest listing at the time.
I am looking for the best box I can buy for DV FEL playback. I want the most powerful current device with capabilities of playing all formats. I would greatly appreciate all suggestions. If you recommend waiting for a device that’s around the corner I wouldn’t mind as well because I currently have the latest shield pro and will be okay to manage till something newer comes out. AV1 encoded files do not work on CE last version / 905x3 because not supported hahaha My sony TV 2020 x8h updated to Android 10 do not support AV1 encoded files too hahaha SHAME on sony my next will be a Hisense thanks to them to open my eyes… And then big surprise my very very very very old 5yo chinese phone support it !!! (MediaTek 6771 Helio) … lol

I’ve removed my post mentioning the name of the seller, I tried to order and it was delivered to South Africa so I’ve received a refund from Aliexpress.
But to call my post a scam is blatantly wrong, I was just trying to provide information to a cheap alternative to the other shops. Like I mentioned in my original post USE PAYPAL because it is a new seller.
Anyhow, the hunt continues for a cheap AM6B+. I got to have one for less than ~155€ to be able to import it without extra custom charges. Hopefully there’s some black friday deals coming up!
I saw all post here I thank you all for that because this not convinced me to buy another android box for now and I will stay with my S905X3. All new box like 905x4 and 922/928-J have ALL ± an “issue” and incomplete about FEL or Dolby and some rights.
May be the 905X5 solve that all… wait and see but for now I’m very sure that my Sony TV will going to get the hell out of my house for an Hisense U8N
The only point that can make me change my mind is AV1 codecs encoded files but its not really a threat for now… and in my opinion it will never be !

what is incomplete regarding 905x4 or 922 (esp when they are the only ones that can play FEL)? If you are talking about AV1 then I would argue that it should not be included in the completeness criteria as we can always find something else to include there (e.g. performance of 10bit H264 or lack of proper support for some encoding profiles, super high bitrates, flawless 3d, and so on)…
I wasn’t saying you are scamming, I said the seller is a scam. I gave you so many red flags, if someone is selling something for more than 10% discount compared to everyone else you have to do your due diligence. They were selling it for 66% off, I tried to warn others that it’s a scam, I was right, it was a “blatant scam”. If you’re not the seller then why the apprehension, I just gave you a way to figure out potential scams in future. I’ve never heard of a pricing error from Aliexpress, if their is one, the seller will cancel the order. Their profit margins isn’t 70%, they can’t afford to send it to you at a massive loss. So it was going to be a waste of time, even though you will get your money back,

You are right, it is in fact not official. They are based in HK and not China as well.
I have purchased at least 5x of these Am6b+ boxes to build for friends and family. The ‘ugoos.store’ product was the only one that came unsealed. When I requested an exchange, they asked me to pay for return shipping to HK so I ended up keeping it. Thankfully no issue with the box.
On Aliexpress stores, that never happens. Return shipping back to China is covered for free. I now only buy from PlayTV on Aliexpress since their shipping is insanely fast and all packages came sealed. I think the ‘official’ store is the ugoos store on Aliexpress, which I’ve purchased from as well, but the shipping was slower than PlayTV.
