When going to purchase the AM6 plus I see two options the AM6B Plus and the AM6 Plus. Which one is the right one or the better newer option?

In terms of efficiency or technological advancement these boxes are not up to CE because they all have some limitations and we all know why (Dolby or FEL or AV1 and very soon h266…). When I asked which box to buy I am disappointed to see that the offer is not up to the excellent CE that is what I wanted to express. This is why I will stay with my 905X3 and I will look for something else for my multimedia system if there is no major progress on these boxes.
CE = 10/10
Android box = 3/10
Android box + CE = sometimes 10 sometimes 0 mean 5/10 ?

If my memory is correct, S922X-J has more powerful performance?
And by the way, is there any chance a even more powerful chip than S922X-J supports such feature? Such as S928X? I saw MINIX post that they intended to add FEL support for S928X in OTA update October, however, it seems that the update still hasn’t been released till now.
S922X-J is much more powerful, no, FEL for S928X won’t happen.
The Minix team have give up on FEL support I believe. Somebody mentioned this here on the forum.

They tried but Dolby Laboratories stopped support for FEL after 4.9 kernel. That’s what we have to live with. I’ll keep my U22X-J frozen for FEL support and will use other device as daily driver.

Dolby vision FEL isn’t working on the 928 so any movies with FEL simply aren’t displaying correctly.
I know both AM6B PLUS and U22X-J feature S922X-J, but which is better overall?
minix has a slight edge overall, but good luck finding it (esp for a reasonable price) since it’s been out of production for a while. In my neck of the woods I’ve seen only a used one for around 200 eur on ebay (not available anymore), while I got my am6b+ for 120 (and it is not slouch either where it matters)

I see. Hope you noticed that this one is more like am6+ (not am6b+) without WiFi 6. U22-xj MAX version is the last iteration with WiFi 6 and I think power update so it can give more juice via usb.
