C4 hdmi hires audio via alsa

Hi I am currently evaluating the odroid c4 with different OS versions to be able to
run roon bridge to output 24bit hires audio (48k 96k 192k) 2ch and 5.1ch pcm using the alsa drivers.

As you might know on the raspberry this is not possible with debian. The alsa drivers only allow 16 bit.

What is your guess here? Am I on the right track to try CoreElec for that?

Alsa driver only allows 16-bit on CoreELEC as well, as far as I can tell.
