Cant change resolution of gui or refresh rate

Hi

I´m Rootz from Portugal.
Old user since first version of libreelec to amlogic devices.

Now i migrate to CoreELEC 8.95.2 on Mini M8sII 2GB

Can´t change resolution of GUI to 3840x2160p or 4096x2160p.
Only works resolutions above that like 1920x1080p and my tv is a Panasonic 4k.
Refresh rate don’t work too. Never change go to black.

Hi I have same combo PANA / CE 8.95.2 , Don’t use 4K for the GUI it will give you problems later. Set your GUI to 1080P 50/60Hz and check again.

Refresh still dont work.

Is Refresh rate not working for all media or just 4k ?

Was it a Fresh install or upgrade from libreelec?

You haven’t said what exactly doesn’t work.
Do you get a black screen/no signal or the resolution never changes at all?
If you’re getting a black screen, it’s probably a bad HDMI cable.

Fresh install.

Not working for any content 4k and hd

Both

Not a bad hdmi clable

Your last log shows the resolution changing

16:50:30.442 T:4088918032 DEBUG: Matched exact whitelisted Resolution 3840x2160 @ 29.97 - Full Screen (34)
16:50:30.442 T:4088918032 NOTICE: Display resolution ADJUST : 3840x2160 @ 29.97 - Full Screen (34) (weight: 0.000)

Would need the kernel log to see what’s going on

If the resolution never changed, you wouldn’t get a black screen.
I still think you may have a bad HDMI cable, but I won’t argue, just making suggestions to what the problem can be.

I just test my “old” libreelec kszaq build and everything’s work fine.
Not a cable problem but thanks for the sugestion

Since the old kszaq builds there were a lot of changes and improvements to the way HDMI output works. So it’s definitely could be a problem with your HDMI cable.
