Change address / path HDD without loss

Hello, I just ask my question here, because I often find quality answers.
My Orange server imposes a name on my hard drives that it changes randomly against my will. I will surely invest in a Nas, but in the meantime: do you know if there is a way in Kodi to indicate a new address / path to the movie folder, without losing all the configuration of the covers ?

If you can plug the HDD into a PC running Linux, you can use gparted to set a fixed disk LABEL which will be used whenever it is mounted on any machine. This is what I do with the HDD’s attached to my Kodi box, otherwise its liable to change the disk label at each boot or when you plug and unplug the disk and lose all my libraries.
