4:2:2 is a broadcast and editing format, cannot be played on Amlogic boxes, and most other media players. Only 4:4:4 and 4:2:0 formats are supported.
If I interpret this article correctly, then unless you are using your TV as a PC monitor, where the clarity of text is vital, there should be to need to consider 4:2:2 for video and this seems to be backed up by the fact that the industry as a whole doesn’t either.
