Is there any HDD / USB power changes between coreelec 21.1.1 and 21.2? Because the same system works very well in 21.1.1 stable release.
Something about GUI?
- Try clean fresh install without any addons or other items
- Try CE-NO as CE-NG is not recommend for S905X4

Latest nightly of CE-NO is also working fine, but unfortunately, no DV FEL support

Reporting about S905x3 and S905D.
First about s905x3 , this issue happen with both 21.1 and 21.2 and fresh install.
The problem is that if a wifi usb stick rtl88xx , meditek mt76xx , ralink unknow chip are connected the device goes in loop reboot; if theyāre connected after the boot is complete they work fine.
I solved by reverting to 20.5
About s905d, my box this morning automatically upgraded from uncertain version to 21.2, and the tv playback video/audio goes to black approximately after 30 seconds of fine play, also osd doesnāt work anymore;
after 30 seconds device is still pingable on wired network, wifi is not used; ssh work before, then kick me and by reconnecting close connection after username input without askig for passwordā¦
tvheadend client and server are installed, however tvheadend client is connected to another device; tvheadend server work on port 9981, then after those 30 seconds the page goes timeout (device still pingable);
free ram seem to be enough before it hang, it show 290MB in use then hang.
The device itās an A1 PRO with dvb hybrid tuner.
I donāt know what where installed prior to this update but i suppose it was 20.5 , iām trying to rollback.
After a bunch of reboots by unpluggind the DC connector at least one time did not hang after 30 second and is still running., so iām trying to checking addons however only tvheadend server/client are installed, addon drivers does not match version.
If i donāt post anymore, it mean that i didnāt find anything useful and iāll probably dowgraded or fresh reinstalled a previous version.
edit: the problem seem to to be disappearing; the video rarely or maybe never disappear but i need same more time to confirm, and the device continue to work until evening (11 hour per day, 5 days for week).
There was same automatic updates, maybe that fixed the problem.

Since the update on at least two of my boxes, on certain x265 videos thereās massive frame skipping.
It did not happen before, and reverting to the 21.1.1 version fixes the problem as well.
Just leaving this here to see if anyone has the same problem.
I guess I could provide a short cut of the problematic video.
What is your SoC temp on 21.1.1, as it seems rather high (142Ā°F) on 21.2?

I have updated to version 22 today and placed the dovi file for atv 14 in the root directory, but the Dolby option did not appear in the system settings.
Is there a specific DOVI file for the NG version of ATV14?
I am unable to play Dolby Vision files.

There are 3 versions of CoreElec NG NE NO.
I have used NG and NE successfully on an S905x4 with wifi and BT working in the past. I am currently using NE 21.2 and it has working bt and wifi.
Just try out the latest releases and see how you go. Lots of things to learn.
Resolved it by using sc2_s905x4_4g_1gbit.dtb devicetree rather than sc2_s905x4_sei_smb_280.dtb

How to get full hardware Infos of hardware in example Bluetooth and wifi chip. Which apps do you used to get this infos?
