Hi, regarding your subtitle stutter fix, were the commits from the current code removed due to further work on the issue or because of the 21.2 release and you wanted more testing before including it in any stable version? Thx!

No, status of subtitle stutter is not changed.
Only in CE-22 it is worked on. Maybe never solved on CE-21.

Do now Bluetooth & Wifi work without any problems on s905x4 devices?

I can confirm Bluetooth does not work again. A little bit slugish to me for now when comparing to Ne 21.2. Does anyone have a solution fixing Bluetooth and slugish behavior? I came from Ne nightly 241111 . After watching live streams it stopps always amd crashes on ng 21.2.

I don’t understand whether we should choose Ne or Ng now. My specs s905x4 / 4gb ram / 100mbit Ethernet. According to your description we should use ng because it is fully supported. Things don’t run smoothly with Ng. Can maybe someone clarify?

When playing DV P7 MEL + TrueHD movie, after few minutes (~5 min) everything freezes and then coreelec reboot again. (Homatic Box 4k R plus, android 11)

Same movie is working fine with coreelec 21.1.1 stable build.

You never have to jump to latest version
Just because???

Go back to version where Wifi/Bluetooth was working for you.

I assumed that it worked in stable, but it doesn’t work in nightly either

If clean install. Make SD card.
On old running version Go to CE settings. Create backup.
Save backup off line. I use windows explorer to see box under its ip addy. \192.168.0.xx etc
Go to backup folder and save file on pc.
Install new CE SD card.
When CE is running, open windows as above and copy backup file into backup folder on box.
Reboot box .
Fiddle with addons etc to bring back on line.

If updating current CE just drop the version file downloaded from site into Update folder on running CE. as above with win expl.

Have you tested any version where both are working??

If not then test NO latest nightly
And follow forum rules

I tried CoreELEC 21.2-Omega (CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.2-Omega-Generic.img.gz) on device Homatics Box R 4K plus
I tested CoreELEC and booted successfully from USB using the Reboot to CoreELEC app

Everything looks fine, but when I play any movie via external HDD, after few mintues ~5 min, everything freezes and the device reboots itself.

coreelec version: CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.2-Omega-Generic.img.gz
device: Homatics Box R 4K plus
TV: LG G2 (directly connect to Homatics Box)
device tree: sc2_s905x4_sei_smb_280.dtb
Speaker: Sonos Arc
Player processor info:

I tried varies options like, disabling the audio passthrough, playing different contents - 4k DV + trueHD, 4k DV + DTS HD, 4k HDR + trueHD but nothing works.
Some small and 1080p videos are working fine.

I am just looking for an working build for s905x4 where bt and wifi works. Could you give an version Nightly or stable…? I have No helpfull post found in Forum
