CoreElec and HDR10+ / HDR10 Plus

Everything’s working fine for me with the latest nightly. I tested the seven films I mentioned in a post earlier in this thread and my TV displays the HDR10+ logo for all.

I’ll give it another try tomorrow then.

What tv do you have?

A Panasonic TX-55GZ950B.

I have Samsung QE75Q70R, Tesla MediaBox X900 Pro with CoreELEC 9.2.2. and HDR10+ pass very well. TV shows UHD HDR10+ logo.

Yes, in 0509 hdr10+ stop working, play as simple hdr

@Pelican I’ve confirmed it again today. The same file plays in HDR10+ using stable 9.2.2 and standard HDR10 in 0509. Odroid N2 on Panasonic TH-55GZ1000.

Please run dispinfo and copy the link here.
@Kojie: Could you please run the dispinfo too?

@Kojie Are you sure you run dispinfo during a HDR10+ video? It says 4k SDR.

Could you make another dispinfo with the same condition but on CE 9.2.2?

Will do so tomorrow a bit busy tonight at the moment. Will report back.

@Pelican dispinfo with stable 9.2.2 and TV reporting HDR10+.

With the newest nightly build try setting hdr2sdr back to it’s default of auto.

If hdr2sdr set to auto, then hdr10+ play correct. When hdr2sdr set to off, hdr10+ play as simple hdr

The hdr2sdr setting was only intended to be used by people with SDR displays. So that they could turn the hdr2sdr conversion off if they did not like the effect.

If your display is capable of any form of HDR then it’s simply not one you should be changing since it has nothing to do with you setup and it should be left on the default setting of auto.

Ok thanks will set that.

If hdr2sdr set to off, then hdr10+ stop working.
