I have installed CE on a few tv boxes with great sucess :slight_smile: . I have been gifted an Firestick 4k Max.
Am I correct in assuming from my searches that CE cannot be installed only Kodi?

You are correct, CoreELEC is incompatible with Amazon Firestrick.

I think the correct answer here is to understand the difference between Kodi and CoreElec. CoreElec is an operating system that runs Kodi. The Firestick already runs it’s own version of Android, so you just need Kodi the “app”.

Further to this coreelec is optimised to run kodi on amlogic devices and is a just enough os so you get very good performance from your device.
