Using Kodi in Coreelec, does anyone know how to add a VPN and configure it?
Google Zomboided, it’s a vpn manager, used on Libreelec & Coreelec
Is anyone also experiencing problems with Coreelec when connecting the VPN?
In my case I tried the addon VPN manager with protonvpn and the connection is established, but as soon as the connection is established I lose internet connection with Kodi.
I’ve also tried configuring openvpn to start with the VPN on reboot of the Box and it doesn’t go beyond the Coreelec splash screen because it must be doing network checks and simply hangs.
If I connect via SSH I can see that the VPN is working fine, because I can access the internet with commands like curl (the IP address is also the correct one for the VPN).
If I let the system start up without a VPN, log in via SSH and establish the VPN connection and then restart Kodi, Kodi works fine, i.e. as long as it starts up with the VPN already established, it works fine.
Any idea what it might be?
